Thankful Thursdays!

BrotherWord - Last Year

I AM THANKFUL FOR ANOTHER YEAR!  Last year was filled with ups and downs, tests and triumphs, lessons and growth, loss and victory.  Yet, through it all, I made it to another year… and so did you.  I am THANKFUL that last year did not signify the last chance, the last opportunity, the last time.  And although some people did not make it to 2015 with me, both figuratively and literally, it does not mean it is the last time I will see them or the last time they will impact my life.

If you have not heard or do not know, this life is temporary, but what you do with it is the only thing that lives on forever.  You can either live in infamy for wasting the tremendous tools and talents you were blessed with or achieve immortality through great works you accomplish and the lives you touch.  I am so THANKFUL that yesterday, yesteryear, was not the last time we will get to make a difference or the last chance we will get to touch another life.  You are still here for a purpose and there is a plan for your life.  Why not let 2015 be the year you put it all together, break down the barriers, and draw closer and take hold of the dream you envisioned years ago?

How long have you been saying this is going to be my year?  Have you previously proclaimed this is the year when this or that is going to happen and work out?  Time to let go of the past and move forward!  Whatever and whomever did not grow you in 2014, leave it behind.  Be THANKFUL that it is a new year and with a new year comes a renewed spirit, renewed energy, renewed focus, renewed excitement, and most importantly, a renewed faith.  You may not look new on the outside, but inside, you can feel a change and the weight being lifted.  Embrace all that is new and let go the old and the past.
