As a man thinketh, so is he. Whatever consumes our mind, consumes our life and whatever constantly permeates our dreams, our thoughts, our conscious and subconscious, that is where our heart lies and what our energy goes toward. Once we begin controlling what controls our thoughts we will begin to see our lives shape in the ways in which we desire. The most powerful thing any of us possesses is the power of our mind. Anything we think can be achieved and vice versa, any doubts will allow to manifest can cripple and destroy.
An old Cherokee teaching his grandson about life told a story about a battle inside all of us. “A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.” He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too. ”The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?” The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”
Which will you feed?
