A Kiss Is Just a Kiss… Or Is it?

BrotherWord - A Kiss Is Just A Kiss

It’s one of the most seductive and connecting forms of affection two people can share.  No two are alike, but when you find a compatible partner, it is climatic and invigorating!  What may seem like a simple expression can lead to pure passion.  A kiss between lovers can stir unbridled ecstasy at a moment’s notice.

But what happens when you pair strangers together to share an intimate moment that takes a certain level of connection to properly execute, let alone ignite a spark?  Kissing someone for the first time after meeting in a bar and a few drinks later or a first date and a few hours of conversation is one thing, but being randomly paired with a stranger and on top of that, being filmed while you kiss for the first time is something different altogether.

Awkward to say the least, Tatia Pllieva, asked just that… and they agreed.  Where there was initial hesitance and moments of feeling each other out – how to tilt the head, where to hold you, soft kiss or hard, open mouth or closed – turned into a very real and in-depth look at how kissing draws two people together in ways that nothing else ever will.

Some may disagree with this experiment for many reasons, but there is no denying the power of a kiss.  Whatever your thoughts are, no one can deny the magnetic pull of an unadulterated and uncomplicated simple gesture.  Enjoy the short film and let BrotherWord know what a kiss means to you.  What does a person’s kiss say about them and where does kissing rate for you?  Would you kiss a complete stranger?  Share your thoughts with BrotherWord here or @BrotherWord with the hashtag #kissable.

“The mouth is made for communication, and nothing is more articulate than a kiss.” ~ Jarod Kintz

“It is the passion that is in a kiss that gives to it its sweetness; it is the affection in a kiss that sanctifies it.” ~ Christian Nestell Bovee

  1. Kissing is so intimate and can communicate so much. I would not want to kiss a total stranger for an experiment… unless we had immediate physical chemistry.
